Protect™ is a two-part enteric coating system of aqueous shellac and Sodium Alginate. It has proven to maintain its enteric properties over time and has the possibility to add color and flavor ingredients without compromising the integrity of the coating. It has been developed for tablets, softgels and two-piece hard capsule applications.
